Applying the Trade

Once all input has been completed, the tradeConfirmationDocument will look something like this:

If the trade has been validated, the "File|Apply" selection on the tradeConfirmationMenu will be enabled; selecting this choice will apply the trade.

Applying the trade will update the following files:

If the "Apply" choice is not enabled, the trade is not valid for some reason. The results of the transactionValidationProcess may be obtained by selecting the "Help|Validate Transaction" choice on the tradeConfirmationMenu, if there is any uncertainty regarding why the trade is considered invalid.

Once the trade has been applied, the "File|Print" command on the tradeConfirmationMenu will be enabled, allowing the document to be printed if desired.
